Welcome to WORX Sports Insurance. I’m Ash Sims, an adviser with a passion for helping individuals, families, and business owners explore suitable insurance and protection solutions.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me mountain biking, coaching my daughter Lily’s football team or spending time with my family. My children are heavily involved in sport, and like many of our clients, we spend plenty of weekends on football pitches, rugby fields and trails.

Being actively involved in sport gives me a practical understanding of the considerations that matter to many of our clients. Whether you’re involved in motocross, mountain biking, rugby, football or enjoy an active lifestyle, I take the time to understand your circumstances and help you make informed decisions about your protection needs.

Jan Howells

Meet Jan Howells, one of the advisers at WORX Sports Insurance.

Jan is a passionate motocross rider who competes at both the veterans’ club and national level. His love of sport doesn’t stop there. He trains regularly in the gym, enjoys boxing and coaches an under-9s rugby team. Outside of work, he’s a proud husband to Amy and dad to Archie and Jake.

Through his involvement in sport, Jan has experienced many of the challenges that can come with an active lifestyle, including several serious injuries over the years. These experiences have given him a practical understanding of the considerations that can be important to many of the clients he works with.

Jan enjoys helping individuals, families, and active people understand their protection options and make informed decisions about their insurance needs. His approach is friendly, straightforward and focused on providing clear advice and personal service.

Callum Swan

I’m Callum, and I’ve worked in the insurance industry for over ten years.

Before becoming an adviser, I spent more than 20 years involved in motocross. During that time, I experienced my fair share of injuries and gained a real appreciation for the importance of understanding the protection options available to individuals and families.

Today, my passion for the sport continues through my son Cooper, who now races motocross himself. Supporting him on his journey has given me an even greater understanding of the considerations many sporting families face and the importance of planning for the unexpected.

I enjoy helping clients understand their insurance and protection options, straightforwardly explaining things and helping them make informed decisions based on their own circumstances and needs. I aim to provide clear advice and personal support, helping individuals and families explore suitable protection solutions from a range of insurers.

Josh Turner

Josh brings a unique perspective to the WORX Sports Insurance team, combining his experience as an insurance adviser with a lifelong passion for mountain biking.

Outside of work, Josh competes at an elite level in downhill mountain biking, representing Great Britain in the UCI Mountain Bike World Series and achieving success across national competition circuits. He is also actively involved in mountain bike coaching and creates content for his growing online community.

Being involved in mountain biking at a high level has given Josh a practical understanding of the commitment, preparation, and challenges that often accompany active lifestyles. This experience helps him relate to many of the individuals and families he works with and understand the considerations that may be important to them when discussing protection needs.
